Newborn Developmental Consultation
This consultation is designed for babies newly arrived home from the hospital through the first 12 weeks. It will provide education and support on feeding techniques (breast or bottle), strategies for soothing, and positioning that will serve as the foundation for your baby’s sensory-motor development. Valuable insight will be gained about the importance of identifying your baby's cues, which will guide your interpretation of his/her needs.
Developmental Wellness Consultation
This consultation is designed for well babies; the focus will be on preventing atypical patterns of development, anticipating the next developmental phase, and helping you to incorporate age appropriate stimulation that is realistic for busy lives.
Families will gain important knowledge and insight about early development as it relates to their baby's unique skill/stage.
Occupational Therapy Services
This service is for babies/toddlers who have had therapy services recommended by a pediatrician or another specialist. It can also be used when babies/toddlers do not qualify for early intervention, or a family requests additional services to complement early intervention. Specializing in:
feeding therapy
fine/gross/sensory motor delays
developmental issues for high risk and medically complex babies
